AFB Mom “I’m finally making money from home!”
Just wanted to share this story about an Air Force mom that wrote a few weeks ago on the subject of finding a way to make money from home while her husband and daughter serve our country overseas.
Ok, I’ve never written anything online about my personal life, but I had to in this case.
OMG! What a pie fiasco. My daughter is in Tech school right now then she is going to the UK for 4 years. All I wanted to do was get her favorite apple pie to her for the holidays. I take it to the shipping place in my neighbor hood and pay $150 dollars to get her package there the next day. Because of a national service disruption through FedEx my pie did not get to my daughter until 3 days later. Thank goodness making money from home paid for the shipping cost of my pie.
It’s been very hard to find a way to help my family during these tough times. My husband is on another tour of duty, serving our country. I’m so proud of him, but paying the bills was really stressing me out. I’ve been toying around with different things trying to make a buck here and there. I was just thinking of throwing in the towel with this work from home wish of mine when I stumbled upon something interesting.
My next large expense is going to be taking a trip to the UK to visit my daughter. With everyday expenses it’s hard to come by an extra few thousand dollars. That is why I take an hour most nights to work on my business. Not to mention it keeps my mind busy so I don’t dwell on how much I miss my baby.
I’ve been asked time and time again to jump on board Avon, Mary Kay and that acai juice from Monavie, but my heart was not in it, only because I didn’t want to bother friends and family. I believe their systems work, but how can I get to talk to people outside my area or generate leads through the internet. I tried to do my best with what I know about the internet but kept failing and I didn’t want to waste any more of our money experimenting.
I kept thinking in the back of my head. “Can 90% of the process be automated?” This way I would only have to speak with people that were interested.
Just by chance, last week I got an email about this system called Empower Network developed by David Woods. I thought, “here I go again” another making money quick home business scheme.
Trust me. I’ve done my research, it seems that’s all I’ve been doing from home this last year is research. These guys were on to something. They think like me, now I could focus on building a business and spending times with my 8 year old instead of stalking my friends and family.
AFB Moms Need To Unite
I found a way that is easy and all you have to do is blog, The Empower Network does all the selling for me and as a bonus they do all the training. They show you how to blog for profit. You know all us AFB Moms can talk up a storm, so why not get paid for it. Better yet, we keep all the profit. 100% goes to us. I’m using that money to help build my new Numis Network business and the rest to help my family.
Please don’t get caught up in all the quick making money from home schemes and there are thousands out there. Take your time and do some research and choose something that truly interests you.

Best of luck to all the Air Force Moms out there and make sure that whatever you choose to do that it comes with some sort of system place so that you too can duplicate their success. So many times people tell you to jump in their latest greatest business making money from home but they don’t tell you how. So just make sure the How To is in place before you get started and don’t be shy about calling and asking for help. If they are true team leaders they will always have time for their newest team members, but don’t get caught up in the hype. Every company out there has hype. The only reason I jumped aboard Numis Network in the first place was because I found a system that automated a huge part of the process for me.
Remember it never hurts to have multiple streams of income because you never know when your pie will cost $150.00. I wish all of you who are missing your loved ones this Holiday Season the best New Year Ever!
